MakerBot Announces the Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer

Badass. I am so rooting for these guys. I want one of these in my shop.

At a live press conference held today, Bre Pettis of MakerBot Industries announced the MakerBot Replicator 2 (and 2X), their new sleek 3D desktop printer which features “a resolution capability of 100 microns and a massive 410 cubic inch build volume” (was 270 microns in original Replicator).
