# Arcol hosting 'Retooling AEC' meetup

Arcol is hosting an event on August 15th dubbed "a discussion on the future of digital design tools". It looks like it will be a fantastic event to attend if you're in the NYC area based on the subject and the speakers. Alas, I am on the west coast and will not be in attendance.

Several past guests from the TRXL podcast are speaking at the event including [Shane Burger](https://www.trxl.co/068/), [Greg Schleusner](https://www.trxl.co/079/), and [Federico Negro](https://www.trxl.co/049/). I assume [Paul O'Carroll](https://www.trxl.co/078/) will be speaking there are well since he's hosting the evening.
