Gender equity in the architectural profession is *not*. We had special guest Rosa Sheng on the podcast to discuss the recent Equity by Design Symposium held in San Francisco. She shared her insights into the missing 32% of female architecture graduates that don't get licensed and move out of the profession which leaves a big gender gap.

But why do they leave? Are they becoming mothers who want to stay at home and raise their kids; do they move into another profession altogether; are they forced out by their male counterparts; or are there just not enough female leaders for them to follow in the footstep of? [We talk about all this and more in episode 47](http://archispeakpodcast.com/episodes/47). Like I said in the podcast, it's time architecture gets its house in order on this issue.
